Consumers are protected from financial fraud by use of a state-of-the-art process for authenticating customer identity, which is a unique method of fraud alert management, allowing customers to be protected against identity theft without having to submit their personal phone numbers to the credit bureaus.
In 2003, Congress gave you the right to place a fraud alert on your credit files telling all banks and other creditors that they are not authorized to open any new accounts without first calling you for approval.
LoudSiren assists you in setting fraud alerts at all three national credit bureaus.
They then assign a secure phone number to your account and place that number in your credit files. (Some creditors require that phone numbers in your credit file match phone numbers on your credit application. So, please be sure to include the LoudSiren Safe phone number whenever you apply for credit.)
When you, or someone pretending to be you, applies for credit, the bank or other creditor reviews your credit file and sees your fraud alerts. By law, they must then contact you on your "Safe" phone number for approval before opening the account.
You can become a victim of identity theft when thieves impersonate you to acquire credit and loans in your name.
Is your identity protected? Be 100% sure. Click Here to learn more.
However, the Identity Theft Warning System makes this impossible. You get a phone call every time anyone attempts to open a credit account using your personal information. This triggers an automated process of identity authentication where you approve or reject each credit application.
Answers to frequently asked questions.

Here's How It Works:
When the bank or creditor calls your "Safe" number for your approval, the call is answered automatically and forwarded to you at one of the three phone numbers you provided at registration. If you can't be reached on your preferred number, then you will be called at the other two numbers. In the event you cannot be reached on any of your three numbers, a voice mail will be left and an email will be sent to you. You can then call back to approve or reject the account application.
In most cases, the only reason for you not being reached would be that you were not applying for credit, because if your were, you would be waiting on the call to approve the credit.
During registration with LoudSiren, you will record a private Voice Key message. Then, whenever you receive a warning call about an application for credit in your name, you will hear the recording of your message in your own voice that authenticates this as a legitimate call from LoudSiren. There is no way for identity thieves to deceive you.
You will know your own message and certainly you will recognize your own voice! This is an exclusive feature NO ONE else has!
Next you will hear the name of the creditor and the credit representative followed by the type of loan that has been applied for. If the loan application is legitimate, you simply enter your LoudSiren PIN and the credit approval process is complete. If the application is fraudulent, you simply push the star key and the transaction is stopped immediately.

**Fraud alerts are set and maintained for you. Your fraud alerts at all three national credit bureaus expire every 90 days, but they will be automatically renewed for you so your protection is uninterrupted.
Consumers have been instructed to set Fraud Alerts at only one national credit bureau, and then that bureau will set the alerts at the other two bureaus. However, a study was conducted that uncovered the fact that in 40% of the cases, this does not happen. The Fraud Alerts are often not set because of inaccurate data at the different bureaus. This means millions of consumers who think they are protected, are not. To overcome these problems, LoudSiren uses an automated service that makes it easy to set Fraud Alerts properly.
**Unwanted solicitation protection. Reduce the chance of your mail getting in to the hands of thieves. Opt out of receiving pre-approved and prescreened offers from creditors and insurance companies.
**Eliminate unwanted telemarketing calls. Add your registered phone numbers to the National Do Not Call Registry so telemarketers do not have permission to call you.
**Your confidentiality is guaranteed. Your information will never be sold or shared with anyone. All sensitive and personal information is encrypted and kept secure.
