HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
When the bank or creditor calls your Safe Number for your approval, the call is answered automatically and forwarded to you at one of the three phone numbers you provided at registration. If you can't be reached on your preferred number, then you will be called at the other two numbers. In the event you cannot be reached on any of your three numbers, a voice mail will be left and an email will be sent to you. You can then call back to approve or reject the account application.
In most cases, the only reason for you not being reached would be that you were not applying for credit, because if you were, you would be waiting on the call to approve the credit. If you are the one trying to get credit, this speeds up the process for credit approval and prevents playing "phone tag" with creditors.
During the registration process, you will record a private Voice Key message. Whenever you receive a warning call about an application for credit in your name, you will hear the recording of your message in your own voice that authenticates this as a legitimate call from Debix. There is no way for identity thieves to deceive because you will certainly recognize your own voice and the personal message you recorded. Next, you will hear the name of the creditor and the credit representative followed by the type of loan that has been applied for. If the loan application is legitimate, you simply enter your PIN and the credit approval process is complete. If the application is fraudulent, you simply push the star key and the transaction is stopped immediately.
